We have a wide range of Pilates classes to suit everyone, all taught by highly experienced teachers. Choose from total beginners, improvers, intermediate and advanced mat classes. Alternatively we have smaller machine classes or 1:1 sessions in our highly equipped studio. We highly recommended booking a 1:1 session with special attention to your specific needs, goals and any injuries you are working with. Studio (Machine) Classes – One to One
An excellent way to begin your pilates training. After an assessment of your strength and flexibility and your goals set out your session will include a workout designed just for you. These sessions are perfect for those who want to work closely with a trainer to increase motivation. It’s also a great opportunity to talk about about injuries you are working with.
Studio (Machine) Classes – Group Session
Develop your strength, flexibility, co-ordination and endurance and get the ultimate results. Studio classes are available for beginners, intermediates and sports people. These sessions are also suitable for those new to pilates and as a way to develop your pilates mat work technique. 2-3 people.
Pilates Mat Classes
A variety of classes to suit every level. Classes also use small equipment such as weights, bands and the pilates arc used as a spine corrector to mobilise the spine, shoulders and hips and for core, abdominal, lateral rotation and back extensor work. Maximum 10 people.
Pilates for Back Pain and Total Beginners
A gentle pilates mat class taught by a physiotherapist for people suffering from back pain. The teacher has worked with a range of back injuries but if you have any questions regarding this class and to find out if this is a suitable class for you please call or email the studio. This class is also suitable for total beginners.
A great class for those who are new to Pilates, or those who are looking to refresh the basics. It is a wonderful introduction to some of the Pilates principles including breath, alignment, coordination and how to engage deep abdominal muscles. Small equipment may be used for some exercises.
Pilates with Small Equipment – Improvers / Intermediate
A mid-level class for those with some experience of Pilates mat classes with emphasis on improving technique while using small equipment. The classes will feel more dynamic than the beginners class.
A more advanced and challenging workout for those with experience of pilates mat classes who wish to move beyond the basics. The classes will feel more dynamic than the beginners class, with more use of small equipment and an emphasis on improving technique and deepening understanding of the Pilates principles.
A more advanced workout for those with solid experience of Pilates mat classes. Not suitable for beginners (or those with injuries). The classes will feel more challenging than the intermediate class, with an emphasis on improving technique and deepening understanding of the more advanced Pilates principles.
New! HIIT Pilates Class Intermediate
A challenging workout combining cardio, strength and Pilates in short intense bursts. For those looking for something a bit different and more intense to compliment their Pilates practice. Participants should have some Pilates experience and be in good general health. Trainers are required for this class.
New! Pilates for Beginners/improvers
This class is suitable for beginners, improvers and those returning to pilates after a break. The class focuses on the core pilates principles, quality of movement and improving technique.
If you are awaiting or recovering from surgery, have acute or chronic pain our experienced physiotherapist will work with you using the pilates equipment to enhance your recovery and strengthen your core muscles. One to one sessions and semi private 2:1 sessions are available in studio sessions and mat pilates.
